whether的用法：
1、whether可以表示“是否”，引導(dǎo)賓語從句。
You may wonder whether it is true.
你可能想知道它是否是真的。
2、當(dāng)引導(dǎo)的從句中出現(xiàn)or not時，通常用whether。
I'm wondering whether you will come to my party or not tomorrow.
我想知道你明天是否來參加我的聚會。
3、to+動詞的結(jié)構(gòu)（即動詞不定式）前只能用whether。
Have you decided whether to accept the offer yet?
你決定好是否接受那個報價了嗎？
4、介詞prep.后只能用whether。
We're discussing the problem of whether to accept the offer.
我們正在討論關(guān)于是否接受報價的問題。
5、當(dāng)賓語從句提到句首表示強(qiáng)調(diào)時，只能用whether引導(dǎo)。
Whether they can finish the work on time is still a problem.
他們是否能按時完成他們的工作還是個問題。
6、只能用whether引導(dǎo)主語、表語或同位語從句。
The question is whether they will support the plan.
問題是他們是否會支持這個計劃。
The question,whether we need it,has not yet been considered.
